Because the flight from Singapore is long, a short trip does not repay the effort. Seven nights is the sweet spot: enough time for three parks at a reasonable pace, with two full nights in the Masai Mara for morning and afternoon game drives. Push for four or five parks in a week and you spend more of it driving than watching animals, so we keep most weeks to three.

Where you sleep and who guides you are the two things that decide how good the trip is. Staying in or next to a park boundary saves a long drive in and out each day and protects your best viewing hours at dawn and dusk. The guide matters even more than first-timers expect. Our head guides, Boniface Kamau and John Mithamo, each have more than 20 years reading these parks, which is the single biggest factor in what you actually see. On every trip you are in a private vehicle with a dedicated guide from start to finish, not a shared bus on a fixed schedule.

Do Singaporeans Need a Visa for Kenya?

No. Since 1 July 2025, Singapore passport holders are exempt from the electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) for stays of up to 90 days. You need no visa and no eTA before you travel, confirmed by Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Kenya travel page.

Some pages aimed at Singapore travellers still tell you to buy a US$30 eTA. That is out of date for Singapore passports. All you need is a passport valid at least six months beyond your departure date, with blank pages for entry stamps. If you hold a passport from another country, check your status on the official Kenya eTA portal before you fly.

Flights from Singapore to Kenya

There are no direct flights between Singapore and Nairobi. Every route has one stop and total travel time runs about 14 to 16 hours, connecting through Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Mumbai or Addis Ababa. You land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where we meet you and handle every onward connection into the parks.

Return economy fares have recently started around S$1,000, rising through the June and December peaks. Booking three to four months ahead gives the best mix of price and a sensible layover. If you arrive a day early or end in Nairobi before flying home, we can book a city hotel for you.

The Parks You Will Visit

The Masai Mara is the main attraction of almost every trip. Open grassland makes sightings easy, the big cats are resident year-round, and from late July to October the wildebeest migration pushes up from the Serengeti in huge numbers.

Amboseli sits in the shadow of Kilimanjaro and is the best elephant park in the country, with big herds used to vehicles and the mountain behind them on a clear morning. Lake Nakuru is small enough for a day, known for flamingos and for reliable rhino, both black and white. In the dry north, Samburu holds species you will not see further south, including the reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra.

If rhino is near the top of your list, Ol Pejeta is worth adding. It holds the largest black rhino population in East Africa and protects the last two northern white rhinos under 24-hour guard. What Is Included

Every safari is private and all-inclusive: park and conservancy fees, accommodation, all meals on safari, game drives with a dedicated driver-guide, and airport transfers. We handle all transfers between parks, so you do nothing on the ground.

Domestic flights are quoted separately, since depending on your route you may drive the circuit or fly parts of it. International flights from Singapore, tips and drinks are not included. One thing you can leave off the list: Singapore passport holders pay no eTA, so that cost and the waiting time do not apply to you.
