Major Highlights:
Drive Time: 5-6 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Leave Nairobi at 7:00 AM, driving southwest through farming regions and into the Great Rift Valley. Stop at viewpoints along the way to stretch your legs and take photos of the valley floor below. Pass through Narok town, a busy market center and gateway to the Mara, where you'll have a short break. The tarmac road ends here, and the landscape changes to open grasslands where you might spot your first wildlife. Arrive at Muthu Keekorok Lodge around 1:00 PM for lunch and check-in.
In late afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Mara. Your driver knows the best spots to find lions resting in the grass and elephants feeding among the trees. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and a good night's rest after your long day.
Full Day Game Drives
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Start early to catch the best wildlife viewing. Drive along the Mara River where hippos splash in the water and crocodiles rest on the banks. Look for lion prides setting up their morning hunt and herds of zebra and wildebeest grazing in the grasslands. If you're traveling during migration season (July-October), you might see wildebeest crossing the river. Stop for a picnic breakfast under an acacia tree, watching the plains come alive.
After lunch at the lodge and some time to rest, head out for your afternoon game drive. Look for elephants feeding among the trees, giraffes browsing the top branches, and perhaps a cheetah scanning the savanna for prey. Return to the lodge for dinner and an evening of sharing safari stories around the fire.

Explore a different area of the Mara today. Your guide knows the best spots to find resident lion prides and leopards. Watch elephants protecting their young as they move between feeding grounds, and spot curious warthogs trotting across the plains with their tails up like antennas. Visit a local Maasai village to learn about their daily life and traditional customs.
After lunch back at the lodge, take some time to relax by the pool or watch wildlife from your room's veranda. The afternoon drive offers more chances to spot the animals you haven't seen yet. End the day with sundowners overlooking the Mara plains before your final dinner at the lodge.
Drive Time: 7-8 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, begin your journey to Amboseli, passing through rural Kenyan towns and farmland. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Narok town. Arrive at Ol Tukai Lodge or similar in the late afternoon, where elephants often feed in the marshes right in front of the property. If the weather is clear, you'll get your first views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take a short evening game drive to spot some of Amboseli's famous elephant herds, with time to unpack and freshen up before dinner at the lodge.

Early morning offers the best chances of seeing Kilimanjaro before clouds gather. Drive through the park's mixture of dusty plains and green swamps, where large elephant herds gather to drink and feed. Watch buffalo wade through the marshes and hippos cooling off in the pools.
After lunch and an afternoon rest, explore different areas of the park, looking for lions in the grasslands and giraffes browsing the sparse woodland. Visit Observation Hill for wide views across the entire park. Return to the lodge for dinner, watching wildlife at the floodlit waterhole.
Drive Time: 8 hours
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Take a final morning game drive in Amboseli before starting your journey to the coast. The drive takes you through Tsavo East National Park, where you might spot wildlife from the road.
Arrive in Mombasa in the late afternoon, checking into your beach hotel - Serena Beach Resort or similar. Take a walk along the beach or enjoy a swim in the hotel pool before dinner at the seafront restaurant.
Half Day City Tour
Meals: Breakfast
After a relaxed breakfast, join a morning tour of Mombasa's historic Old Town. Walk through narrow streets lined with carved wooden doors and old merchant houses. Visit Fort Jesus, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, and learn about Mombasa's trading history. Explore the spice market where cardamom, cloves, and other spices fill the air with their scents.
Return to your hotel for lunch by the pool. Spend the afternoon swimming in the warm Indian Ocean or relaxing under beach umbrellas. In the evening, try some local seafood at a nearby restaurant, where fresh catch is grilled to order.
Full Day at Leisure
Meals: Breakfast
Today is free to enjoy the beach and hotel facilities. Take a morning swim, try some water sports, or book a spa treatment. You might choose to visit Haller Park to see rescued wildlife and giant tortoises, or take a trip to the Mombasa Marine Park for snorkeling. In the evening, join a sunset dhow cruise in Tudor Creek, watching traditional boats sail past as the sun sets over the old harbor.
