Meet your experienced guide and embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park. As you leave the city behind, watch the landscape transform from urban sprawl to rural villages and finally to the African bush. Arrive at your budget tented camp in time for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive in Amboseli. Keep your eyes peeled for the park's famous large elephant herds, often seen against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Your guide will help you spot other wildlife like zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes.
As the sun sets, painting the sky in vibrant hues, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the star-filled African sky.

Return to camp for a late breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, this time including a visit to Observation Hill. This vantage point offers panoramic views of the entire park, including its swamps, plains, and (on a clear day) Mount Kilimanjaro. It's an excellent spot for photography.
As you explore, your guide will share insights about the park's ecosystem and conservation efforts. End the day with dinner at camp and perhaps some stargazing in the clear African sky.

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli and begin the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a long travel day, but you'll pass through diverse landscapes and local villages, offering glimpses into rural Kenyan life. Stop for a picnic lunch en route. Arriving at your lodge or camp near Lake Nakuru in the mid-afternoon, you'll have time to freshen up before heading out for a game drive.
Lake Nakuru is renowned for its flamingos, which often create a pink fringe around the shoreline. It's also one of the best places in Kenya to spot both black and white rhinos. Your guide will explain the park's unique ecosystem and its importance as a bird sanctuary. As the day winds down, find a scenic spot to watch the sunset over the lake before returning to your accommodation for dinner.
