This exclusive 3-day safari offers an immersive luxury experience in Kenya’s world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. You’ll enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing, gourmet dining, and lavish accommodations in one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.
Over the course of three days, you’ll embark on expertly guided game drives in custom-designed 4×4 vehicles, optimized for comfort and wildlife viewing. The Mara’s diverse ecosystems—from acacia-dotted plains to riverine forests—support an astonishing variety of wildlife.
You’ll have ample opportunities to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. The reserve is particularly renowned for its big cat population, offering some of the best lion and cheetah sightings in Africa.
Accommodation:
Muthu Keekorok Lodge or equivalent.
Travel Time: 5 – 6 Hours
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Your luxury safari begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You'll be transferred by road to the Masai Mara, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours through Kenya's scenic landscapes. En route, you'll pass through the Great Rift Valley, with an opportunity for a brief stop to take in the breathtaking views.
Upon arrival at your luxury camp or lodge, you'll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and lunch. After settling into your luxurious tent or suite, take some time to relax and absorb the serene surroundings. Your accommodation will likely feature spacious, elegantly furnished tents or rooms with en-suite bathrooms, private verandas, and stunning views of the Mara.
Embark on your first official game drive in the Masai Mara. Your expert guide will help you spot the abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and numerous antelope species. The Mara is renowned for its big cat population, so keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs, and perhaps even the elusive leopard.
Afterwards, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Rise before dawn for an optional hot air balloon safari (optional, additional cost). This magical experience offers a bird's-eye view of the awakening Mara and its wildlife, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.
If not ballooning, depart for an early morning game drive when predators are most active. Return to camp for a leisurely breakfast.
Enjoy a longer game drive, venturing deeper into the reserve. Your guide will seek out the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and share insights about the Mara ecosystem. If your visit coincides with the Great Migration (typically July to October), you might witness the spectacular wildebeest river crossings.
A gourmet packed lunch will be served at a scenic location in the bush, allowing you to maximize your time in the field.
Return to camp for some relaxation time. You might choose to enjoy a massage at the spa (if available), take a dip in the pool, or simply relax on your private veranda.
Before dinner, you may opt for a guided nature walk around the camp (if offered), learning about smaller flora and fauna.
Enjoy another exquisite dinner, perhaps with Masai dancers performing traditional dances.
Travel Time: 5 – 6 Hours
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Embark on a final early morning game drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Mara one last time. This is often the best time for predator sightings.
Return to camp for breakfast and check-out. Depending on your schedule, you might have the opportunity for a guided tour of a local Masai village to learn about their culture and traditions.
You'll be transferred by road back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the international airport, marking the end of your luxury Masai Mara safari.
