6-7 Hour Drive
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Your adventure begins early! We'll pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 6:00 am in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle. As we leave the bustling city behind, you'll watch the landscape transform from urban sprawl to rural villages, and finally to open savannah.
Around 10:30 am, we'll stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Great Rift Valley. It's a perfect spot for photos and to stretch your legs. We'll then continue to the town of Narok for a quick lunch stop and comfort break.
Arriving at the Masai Mara around 1:00 pm, we'll check into Enchoro Wildlife Camp. After a short rest, we'll head out at 3:00 pm for your first taste of the Mara - a visit to a traditional Maasai village. Learn about Maasai culture, see intricate beadwork, and maybe join in a traditional dance.
We'll return to camp around 6:00 pm. As the sun sets, painting the sky in beautiful oranges and pinks, enjoy dinner while taking in the sounds of the African night.
Dinner and overnight at Enchoro Wildlife Camp.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Rise and shine with the Mara! We'll start early with a 6:30 am breakfast, then head out for a full day of game drives by 7:00 am. This is when the park comes alive - you might see big cats returning from their nightly hunts or elephants heading to watering holes.
We'll spend the whole day exploring different areas of the Masai Mara. Your expert guide knows all the best spots to find the Big Five - lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Keep your eyes peeled for cheetahs scanning the horizon, hippos wallowing in rivers, and if you're lucky (and visiting between July and October), the spectacular wildebeest migration.
We'll stop for a picnic lunch around 12:30 pm in a scenic spot, perhaps near the Mara River. In the afternoon, we'll continue our exploration, looking for animals you might have missed in the morning.
For the adventurous, there's an optional hot air balloon safari available (at extra cost). You'll need to be up before dawn, but floating over the Mara as the sun rises is an unforgettable experience.
We'll return to camp around 6:30 pm. After dinner, gather around the campfire (if available) to share stories about the day's sightings.

After an early 6:30 am breakfast, we bid farewell to the Masai Mara and set off for Lake Naivasha. It's a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Taphe Guest Resort around 12:30 pm.
After checking in and enjoying lunch, you have options for the afternoon:
1. Take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha (extra cost, 1-2 hours). Look out for hippos and some of the 400+ bird species that call the lake home.
2. Visit Crescent Island for a walking safari (extra cost, 2-3 hours). This is a unique chance to walk among zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes with no predators around.
3. Relax at the resort and enjoy the peaceful lake views.
We'll gather for dinner around 7:00 pm, sharing our experiences from the day.
Overnight at Chambai Safari Hotel.
5-6 Hour Drive
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
We'll start early with a 6:30 am breakfast before departing for Amboseli National Park at 7:30 am. The drive takes us through changing landscapes, from the lush Rift Valley to the drier plains near Amboseli.
We'll arrive at Kimana Amboseli Tented Camp around 1:00 pm for check-in and lunch. After a short rest, we'll head out for an afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. As we explore the park, keep your camera ready for that iconic shot of elephants with Kilimanjaro in the background. We'll also look for lions, cheetahs, and various antelope species.
The park's swamps attract a variety of waterbirds and provide a year-round water source for wildlife. Your guide will share insights about the delicate balance of this ecosystem and the conservation efforts in the area.
We'll return to camp around 6:30 pm as the sun sets, hopefully with Kilimanjaro visible in the distance. Enjoy dinner while reflecting on the day's sightings.

Rise early for a 6:00 am game drive - the best time to see Kilimanjaro before clouds roll in. We'll return to camp for breakfast at 8:30 am, then check out and begin our journey to Tsavo East National Park.
We'll arrive at Impala Safari Lodge around 2:00 pm for a late lunch and brief rest. At 4:00 pm, we'll set out for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East.
Tsavo East is known for its "red elephants," covered in the park's distinctive rust-colored dust. It's also home to large buffalo herds, lions, and leopards. We'll explore the area around the Galana River, which attracts a variety of wildlife.
A highlight of Tsavo East is the Yatta Plateau, the world's longest lava flow. Your guide will point out this unique geological feature and explain its significance to the park's ecosystem.
As the day cools, we'll look for predators becoming active for their nightly hunts. We'll return to the lodge around 7:00 pm for dinner and to share our Tsavo experiences.

We'll start our final day with an early 6:00 am breakfast, then head out for one last game drive in Tsavo East at 6:30 am. This is your chance to spot any wildlife you might have missed and to soak in the unique landscape of this vast park one more time.
We'll return to the lodge around 9:30 am to freshen up and check out. By 11:00 am, we'll transfer to Voi train station.
At noon, you'll board the train to Mombasa, marking the end of your safari adventure. The train journey offers a different perspective of the Kenyan landscape as you travel towards the coast.
You'll arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon, where your safari concludes. You can arrange for a transfer to your Mombasa hotel or to the airport for your onward journey.
