Meals: Lunch & Dinner
As dawn breaks over Nairobi, your guide arrives at your hotel, ready to whisk you away on an unforgettable safari adventure. You'll leave the city behind, watching the urban landscape give way to rolling hills and vast plains. The journey southwest is a visual feast, with a stop at a Great Rift Valley viewpoint offering a perfect opportunity to stretch your legs and capture some stunning photos.
By early afternoon, you'll reach Lenchada Tourist Camp, your home for the next two nights. After a welcome lunch and a chance to settle in, it's time for your first encounter with the Mara's wildlife. As the afternoon heat starts to wane, you'll set out on a game drive, scanning the savanna for grazing herds and predators alike. With luck, you might spot a pride of lions lounging in the shade or a tower of giraffes browsing acacia trees. As the sun paints the sky in a breathtaking array of colors, you'll return to camp for a delicious dinner under the star-studded African sky.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
The day begins with the symphony of the bush coming alive and a hearty breakfast to fuel your adventures. Today is all about delving deep into the Mara's diverse ecosystems. Setting out at first light, you might catch nocturnal hunters returning from their nightly prowls or elephant herds making their way to favorite watering holes.
Your knowledgeable guide will navigate the reserve's network of tracks, sharing fascinating insights about the animals you encounter. Perhaps you'll witness a cheetah surveying its domain from atop a termite mound, or a family of warthogs trotting by with their tails held high like antennas.
Lunch is a picnic affair, possibly near the Mara River where hippos wallow and crocodiles bask on the banks. As the day progresses, your guide will seek out the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. The golden afternoon light provides perfect conditions for photography, and as the day cools, predator activity often increases. You'll return to camp at dusk, ready for another mouth-watering dinner and a night serenaded by the distant calls of the wild.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
An early breakfast fuels you for a morning of exploration. As you enter Lake Nakuru National Park at dawn, you're greeted by a spectacular sight – the lake often appears fringed in pink, thanks to the thousands of flamingos that call it home. Your guide will help you spot some of the park's 400+ bird species, from majestic pelicans to fish eagles perched in treetops.
But Lake Nakuru offers more than just avian delights. It's one of Kenya's best places to see both black and white rhinos. You might also encounter buffalo wallowing in muddy pools, zebras grazing on the lakeshore, or if you're very lucky, a leopard draped languidly in the branches of a fever tree.
After your morning game drive, return to the resort for lunch and check-out. Begin the journey back to Nairobi, with the option to stop at curio shops along the way for souvenirs. Arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your Kenyan adventure.
